Access: Head out Dead Indian Memorial Rd from Ashland, then turn right at the sign for Howard Prairie Lake. Follow Howard Prairie Road almost past the lake until it starts to turn right, toward Hyatt Lake. Rather, bear left onto Howard Prairie Dam Road, and be on the lookout for a gravel road on your right named Eve Springs road. A very short distance ahead, the PCT crosses here. Head north on the PCT, crossing Keno Access Road and toward Brush Mountain Road.
