Access: South on I-5 from Ashland, take the exit for Mt. Ashland, but stay on Highway 99 just past Mt. Ashland Road, until you see a sign on the left for the Pacific Crest Trail. Trail head parking is right on Highway 99. At the junction, keep straight on the Lone Pilot trail and head over to the south side of Pilot Rock for some great views.
